Meet the Author
Making God Part of Your Family...
is Michael's first published book. It has been a desire of his for over 25 years.
His mother, the late Martha Grady, began telling him Bible Stories when he was five years old. These stories instilled in him a life-long love for reading and studying the Bible and he is excited to share his knowledge and love for God with others!
While he has enjoyed a successful business career as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and has written and presented numerous formal educational and business courses and articles, this is his first full-length book.
Through his many years of teaching...
Michael discovered that very few people had even a basic knowledge of the Bible. He has designed this first volume in story form to engage people of all ages to help them develop a relationship with God's Word, understand the meaning and learn how to apply its truth to everyday life.
In 2015, Michael completed his first volume in the series, followed by volume 2 (2019), and volume 3 (2023).
The purpose of these books...
is to help Christians learn outside of Sunday morning services. These volumes illuminate biblical messages that provide both practical benefits for our daily lives and eternal rewards for all who believe the good news of Jesus.
Michael lives in Florence, SC with his wife, Nan. They also have one son and daughter and three wonderful grandchildren. Michael enjoys professional and college football and is an avid Alabama fan -- Roll Tide!
